Running year round, FUNNYFEST is a unique combination of entertainment, learning, socializing and fun that promotes mental and physical health through the gift of laughter!

Originating as the first comedy festival of its kind in Western Canada, FUNNYFEST was founded by headline standup comedian, Stu Hughes, 23 years ago. Comprising shows, workshops, and seminars, the focus of FUNNYFEST has always been on creating the most laughter for the best value. 

Although FUNNYFEST showcases a wide range of stand up comedians from around the world, it places the most importance on promoting the outstanding comedic talents of Canadians.  A true comedy event with comic styles ranging from high–brow to low–brow and everything in-between, FUNNYFEST offers a diverse range of belly laughs.

As a non-profit organizations, FUNNYFEST is committed to giving back to the community in order to build a caring, vibrant and diverse society. In addition to producing approximately 150 comedy & teaching events per year, over $200,000 worth of value has been donated to date, supporting charities, non-profit organizations and the financially challenged.
