As visitors to Equinox Vigil in Calgary’s Union Cemetery may recall, we offered globes for participants to hold and care for during the event. We did this as a gesture of love and support and also to provide solace as we often feel grief for our planet and the state of climate change.
We invite folks to gather and hear Calgary’s Poet Laureate perform and to experience in a small way the love for our planet. Free globes will be given out to the first 20 visitors. This may be an outdoor procession depending on the weather. Indoor capacity is limited to 30 people. Families and pets welcome.
