Did you know July 1st, 2023 marks 100 years since the passage of the Chinese Immigration (Exclusion) Act? What are the hidden histories and impacts of this racist legislation on the Chinese Canadian community? Dale Lee Kwong hosts Chinese elders at cSpace Eau Claire Neighbourhood Hub for conversations that will be witnessed by Calgary artists. These artists will respond creatively to the stories they hear, and present their initial response on Canada Day. Come and hear more about this project.
